One of the key aspects of an efficient and sustainable farming business is the ability to be able to easily access data about that farming operation. The MyJohnDeere Operations Center is a free to use platform which allows farmers and growers to communicate with their “connected” machines to setup, plan, monitor and analyse information, to help them make more informed decisions about their business.

The foundation for well organized, and easily accessible Operations Center data lies in having an up-to-date list of field names, each with an accurate boundary recorded and saved to it.

The Ripon Technology team offers customers a field boundary mapping service. Using a John Deere Gator, fitted with RTK accuracy GPS equipment, we can record field boundaries in no time at all. As part of the service, we will also set up the customers MyJohnDeere Operations Centre with the data collected, and share it across the fleet of machines, allowing a timeline of operational data to be created for each field going forwards, saving both time and money.
