Last week, BHE Agricultural Contractors in North Yorkshire took delivery of two brand new John Deere 6250R tractors to add to their fleet. The new additions take the total number of John Deeres bought by BHE, since they started out in 1983 to over 60 John Deere Tractors.
It all began in 1983 when Simon Dunn, of BHE purchased his first John Deere machine, a round baler from the Malton branch. Then, in 1984 Simon purchased his first John Deere tractor, a 2140 2 wheel drive, of which he has fond memories. Over the years Simon has had John Deere mowers, balers and combines too, he’s currently running a T670 high capacity straw walker combine, which guarantees excellent grain and straw quality. Simon comments “The difference in the straw quality is paying for the combine, with more bales to the acre.”
Simon goes on to say “The John Deere product is strong, the machinery is reliable and efficient which is critical to guaranteeing our customers the right machine at the right time. John Deere have always stood behind their product and have never walked away from any issues. The machines deliver on performance and are marketable after use with a high residual value, the current tractors are the best tractors we’ve ever run.”
