Driver

Stockton and Keighley

 

Ripon Farm Services is a family owned multibranch agricultural dealer covering 12 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. 

We are responsible for the sale and aftersales support of a wide range of agricultural machinery and products, predominantly the exciting John Deere range of products. 

Duties

  • Support with the collection or delivery of wholegoods when required;
  • Receive in goods and proactively storing items into their correct locations;
  • Ensuring all administration duties are completed;
  • Assist with general housekeeping activities and tasks.

You will be expected to maintain the company delivery vehicles in a clean state and carry’s out weekly safety checks and inform our Manager of any faults relating to the vehicle. 

Trailer license required.

The role requires you to act in a professional manner and actively promote Ripon Farm Services and John Deere with positivity and integrity. Knowledge of agricultural equipment would be preferred but full training on products and systems and will be provided.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday with weekend work required as part of a rota.

Must be flexible to support the business needs with seasonal demands.

Panel Technician

Bodyshop

Ripon Paint and Body is an accident and repair centre part of the Ripon Farm Services Group.  It is a family owned multibranch agricultural dealer covering 12 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Operating from new purpose built premises, Ripon Paint and Body holds a number of insurance and manufacture approvals including Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and the VW Group to name but a few.

General duties:

Auto body panel technicians must communicate with customers and employees to plan and execute repairs to structural assemblies or panel replacement jobs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks and agricultural equipment. They will be required to have knowledge of specialty techniques, including the use of multi materials, welding of different types of metals and alloys and repair and fill to exacting standards.

Completes tasks using manufacturers specified repair methods with accuracy and minimal waste. Completes all work, reports and administration required for work assignments are recorded and provided in a timely manner.

Complies with all Health and Safety legislation and Company Policies and Procedures, to ensure safety of all staff, customers, and visitors.

Participates in any mandatory training Certification programs required for the development of the business and their skills and knowledge. Maintains equipment to exacting standards.

Ensures own and company tools are stored neatly and in their correct locations.

The role requires you to act in a professional manner and actively promote Ripon Paint and Body with positivity and integrity. Knowledge of working in a Bodyshop environment is essential. A driving licence will be required as there will be a need to drive company vehicles.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday (8am till 5pm).

Must be flexible to support with overtime to suit the business demands, seasonal at evenings and weekends.

Bodyshop Valetor

Ripon Paint and Bodyshop, Dallamires Lane, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 1TT

Ripon Paint and Body is an accident and repair centre part of the Ripon Farm Services Group.  It is a family owned multibranch agricultural dealer covering 12 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Operating from new purpose built premises, Ripon Paint and Body holds a number of insurance and manufacture approvals, including Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and the VW Group, to name but a few.

Role

The role will require you to clean customer and Company vehicles to a very high standard in the required timeframe for both internally and externally customers this includes a steam cleaning service on frame, engine, and wheel arches when required.  You will be responsible for ensuring that cars are cleaned according to customers’ specification and Company standard, especially on repaired areas.

You will learn about various types of vehicles and the best ways to clean them, including how long it will take to get them fully cleaned and you will need to be up to date with products to provide the appropriate finish to vehicles.

You will be accountable for your own work area and to prepare, clean, and safely store equipment.

As part of the role you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard for the fleet of courtesy cars and complete checks on our these vehicles maintaining accurate paperwork. You may also be required to perform a fluid and full light checks on all vehicles after they have been cleaned before they are released for delivery to the customer.

To support the business during busy periods you may be responsible for picking up and delivering vehicles to customers.

You will be required to act in a professional manner and actively promotes Ripon Farm Services and Ripon Paint and Body with positivity and integrity.

Qualities

  • Possess interest in cars and love seeing them clean;
  • Ability to adhere to work guidelines and follow established procedures;
  • Ability to carefully follow instructions and pay attention to detail;
  • Hold a valid driver’s license to be able to pick up clients’ cars from their locations and to deliver them after they have been cleaned;
  • Good customer service and communication skills to be able to internal and external customers;
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Possess strong stamina and fitness to be able to stand on feet for long periods and work with various types of equipment, some of which can be heavy to move around;
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather;
  • Strong ability to perform tasks under pressure and meet set deadlines;
  • All training will be provided where required.

Hours of work

You will work full-time Monday to Friday 8.00 am until 5.00 pm with 30 minutes unpaid each day for lunch. Occasional overtime may be required to suit the business demands.

Bodyshop Advisor

Role
This is a very busy and pivotal role within the Bodyshop and you will act as the point of contact for both internal and external customer enquires. The role will co-ordinate the booking-in and checking out of vehicles and liaising with vehicle manufactures and insurance providers appropriately.
You will be required to maintain the required processes, workflows and systems, keeping accurate logs using electronic and paper systems. Duties include opening works orders, processing payments, invoices and invoicing queries, chasing debtors, and supplementary estimates, end of day processes, hire fleet and other administrative duties associated with running a busy Bodyshop.
You will be required to act in a professional manner and actively promotes Ripon Farm Services and Ripon Paint and Body with positivity and integrity.

Qualities
· To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organised and efficient with excellent administrative and customer service skills. You must have the ability to follow process and have a keen eye for detail;
· You will also need to be able to communicate effectively across all departments, branches and directly with our customers;
· The role will require you to demonstrate excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages along with the ability to learn our bespoke IT programs, systems and processes;
· Knowledge of EMACS or other Bodyshop administration systems would be advantageous but not essential;
· Each day will present a different challenge and you will need a considered and pragmatic approach to working to resolve these challenges;
· This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator with experience of working within the motor trade or a fantastic change of career for somebody looking to learn something new;
· All training will be provided where required.

Hours of work
You will work full-time Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings. Occasional overtime may be required to suit the business demands.

Area Sales Manager – Tadcaster

We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager in the Tadcaster area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager will be based at the Tadcaster depot and you will be required to visit customers at their premises. You will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts as well as generating new business within your sales area.

Through our state of the art CRM system you will be required to prioritise your workload and manage your own diary to achieve your targets and meet the business goals. You must be computer literate and have the ability to prioritise your workload in an efficient and flexible manner.

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge professional working relationships with new and existing customers. You must be commercially minded and have the drive and ambition to expand existing business and develop new accounts in the Tadcaster area.

Group Marketing Manager

The position of Group Marketing Manager reports into the Commercial Director and will be based in Ripon. You will be responsible for developing and delivering the go-to-market strategy for the Company working in conjunction with the Sales and Aftermarket Management teams.

In addition, the Group Marketing Manager will assist with the communication and mainstreaming of John Deere Precision Ag strategy across the AOR along with promotion of the Ripon Farm Services Brand.

Objectives

  • Improve lead generation and drive sales participation of key products and brands such as tractors, combines, forage harvesters, sprayers, grassland products, John Deere, Kuhn and Kramer;
  • Promote the RFS Brand as Ag Machinery supplier of choice in harvest and foraging across all media platforms;
  • Develop a market leading website with a focus on lead generation;
  • Marketing of used equipment;
  • Develop the use of CRM for tactical marketing initiatives;
  • Development and implementation of Account Based Marketing strategy and tactics;

Marketing Manager Requirements:

Agricultural Service Mechanic

Duties

Qualities

Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems is required to enable the repair of agricultural equipment. A base understanding of agriculture and machinery would be essential. A driving licence would be required as there will be a need to drive company vehicles.

Monday to Friday (8am till 5pm) with flexible overtime to suit the business demands at evenings and weekends.
