Pronto drill technology is now available to small and medium size farms as
well as large-scale enterprises with the launch of the new 3-metre, 3-point
linkage, mounted Pronto EX. |
The first 3-metre mounted drill offered by Simba Horsch, the Pronto EX completes an
impressive line-up in this sector including the Pronto DC and Sprinter trailed drills, the
X-Press (with or without ST Bar) and the widely acclaimed DTX 300. |
Greater manoeuvrability - higher productivity
As a mounted 3-metre drill, the Pronto EX is exceptionally manoeuvrable in, around and between fields and can be reversed easily into tight corners. When turning, headland compaction and smearing is significantly reduced. |
More efficient use of tractor power
The Pronto EX, with its ‘close-coupling’ point, can also be towed and moved by the same small tractor (115hp -130hp). Other 3m drills can be towed by tractors of 100 -110hp, however, they are not big enough to lift the drill, so a much larger tractor has to be utilised. This, in turn, can increase fuel consumption. |
Ideal for all conditions
The new machine comes with a choice of standard TurboDisc units featuring an in-built packing system with maximum coulter pressure of up to 120 kg per disc. |
Quality cultivation, levelling and drilling
The Pronto EX features a standard arrangement of a 1500-litre hopper and is equipped with two rows of cultivation discs as used on the larger DC models.
This package delivers consistent, high quality results in terms of cultivation and
levelling. The drill functions are controlled by the advanced Drill Manager ME. |

Disc Harrows
The Simba disc harrow can be one component of a complete tillage system. With this in mind Simba have designed a number of optional extras and attachments for its range of disc harrows. This ensures that whatever cultivation system is adopted be it for straw incorporation or final seedbed preparation the Simba range can be tailored to meet specific requirements. |

Press Rolls
The range of press rolls manufactured by Simba vary from working widths of 3.3m to 7.6m. Designed to fissure the soil whilst leaving the surface firm, weighing approximately 550-600 kgs/m. The ring has a diameter of 615mm and are spaced at 150 or 180mm. A rigid scraper between the ring ensures improved operation particularly when incorporating straw. |
