Tedding

In the tedding position the machine is perpendicular to the tractor.

Intermeshing of the tine arms between the rotors to ensure a first class tedding action.

bullet Vertical tines lift and turn crop, spreading it in an teen, fluffy layer.
bullet Tine arms are not activated by centrifugal force, therefore rotor speed can be reduced when working in delicate crops.

From tedding to raking

In a few simple and easy manoeuvres, the Gyrostar  tedder is transformed into a rake. Only a small leaver is operated an one tine arm is repositioned on each of the two rotors to instantaneously locate all tine arms into the raking mode.

From tedding to windrowing

Positioning the machine oblique to the tractor automatically changes both rotor angles and the direction of rotation of the left-hand rotor.

bullet In raking position, time arm movement is controlled by a cam. The right-hand rotor carries the crop to the left-hand rotor where it is formed into a swath.
bullet Windrowing: the GRS 25 N has all the advantages of a rake with guided tine arms:

A double function lever allows the wheels to be adjusted in height and direction without the need of tools. The position of each wheel corresponds to a mode of work: tedding – oblique tedding along field edges – ranking. Balloon tires are fitted as standard for improved stability when operating on slopes and on irregular terrain.

Attachment

The swinging lower links and pivoting 3-point frame guarantee flexibility and perfect adaptability to ground contours. Working in corners in no way reduces work quality or swath structure.
