To shred prunings and maintain grassy areas

There has never been so much versatility in applications... Shredding prunings and vine stems, plant debris, brush cuttings, grass cuttings, road edges… Maintaining unsown areas, pastures, public domain, hunting trails… In a range of widths from 1.70 m to 3.03 m, choose the VKM shredder which best meets your needs.

Roller with removable ends
Bearings designed for long life: double row of ball-bearings, perfect seal by baffles and double seal;
Roller diameter of 180 mm positioned closet to the rotor for efficient ground following and a self-cleaning effect through the cutting tools.

Rear wheels semi-pivoting 1 in wet conditions
They are proposed in two versions:
Fixed to the side wall and height-adjustable.
Fixed to the rear, adjustable height and sideways

Designed for intensive use
The casing takes 60 kW (82 hp) for VKM 170 to VKM 240 and 92 kW (125 hp) for VKM 280 and 305.
Built-in free wheel inside the gearbox.

Sliding offset
Model VKM is fitted with a sliding tube offset device (standard mechanism, hydraulic optional). This design allows obtaining a very compact machine.

"Universal" design
Low construction with rounded edged, internal rotor bearings, smooth side with no sharp edges.

The arrangement of tools on the VKM rotor (spiral organization) is optimised for:
Smooth, non-jerky rotation;
Good aspiration for a better cut;
Use with lower power tractors.
Good distribution of the shredded residues for improved decomposition

Hammer knives for shredding grass and prunings.

To maintain pastures, fallow land and grassy areas

With the reversible BPR shredder: enjoy the new benefits of maintaining pastures and fallow land! Due to the frontal position of the BPR, the tractor does not drive over the plants to be shredded providing smoother shredding action.
The BPR fits all tractors: it is coupled at the front or back. Work can also be done with a front and back combination including the KUHN verge material.

The end-piece is not in contact with the ground: a labyrinth + an oil seal + a sealing ring protects the double bearing from impurities.
With its removable end-piece the roller is easy to maintain.

The rotor bearings are lubricated for life.
Belt tension is automatic.
With a casing accepting 92 kW/125 hp and a high capacity drive, the BPR can handle the toughest jobs.
Built-in free wheel inside the gearbox.
Choice of speed: 540 or 1000 revs/min whether the power takeoff rotates right or left.
Mixed front/rear coupling: EXTRA versatility
With its double coupling, the BPR can be used at front or back

Offset by sliding movement
The sliding offset of 58 cm allows it to reach the most difficult to access corners.
The machine is equipped with a hydraulic offset as standard equipment.

The standard model of shredding casing is reinforced by a 4 mm plate to give it longer life, and it is equipped with two counter-blades (1 notched + 1 smooth) for fine shredding.		 Effective rotor

shredding quality.
