Compact, flat lawns measuring around 700 m2 are perfect for electric
models.
If you have a large or sloped lawn, a petrol powered mower is just your
pace.
This allows you to complete the full job without being tied to an
electrical source. |

Smaller, fairly level lawns are particularly easy to mow
with a push mower, especially when there are few
flower beds and trees to manoeuvre around.
If you have a larger, sloped lawn with a lot of contoured
landscaping and obstacles like trees and shrubs,
you might find a self propelled model will make your
job easier and quicker. Rear wheel drive models are particularly
easy to manoeuvre around contoured areas. |

Whether you decide to mulch or collect, your lawn will still
have that manicured look. However, determing your mowing
habits first, is the best way to decide which mower will
be best for you.
If you like to grow your grass long
and cut infrequently, bagging may just
be perfect for you. Although you will
have to stop more often to empty the
bag, you can enjoy that manicured look.
Or, perhaps you’d like to cut up to one
third off your current mowing time –
mulching may be your best bet. Mulching
mowers cut and recut clippings then blow
them back into the grass for a natural,
nitrogen rich boost. You can choose
between dedicated mulching mowers or
just take a mulching kit available for most
models. When mulching, it’s best to mow your
lawn more
frequently. |

Nothing stands in the way of a healthy lawn like
the thatch that lies below the surface. Thatch,
which is mostly dead grass and moss build-up,
denies your grassroots the water, air and nutrients
they need to stay healthy.
A good rule of thumb is to use a scarifier twice a
year: every spring and every autumn. By staying
on this schedule, you’ll give your lawn the chance
to reach its potential |

If you’re looking for a mower that can
stand up to the highest test possible,
you want a mower that’s built to a
higher level. Our line of professional
mowers feature steel deck liners,
bronze wheel bearings and aluminium
and steel wheels. Steel
reinforcements inside and outside
the deck provide protection when
mowing over rough terrain and
trimming up close around
obstacles. |
