With the industry’s largest displacement engine ready to go anywhere or do any job, the all-new Thundercat is the most powerful ATV engine in production. Designed and manufactured by Arctic Cat, the 950cc H2 engine is a 90-degree V-Twin, 4 valves SOHC liquid cooled, EFI (electronic fuel injection) and the Duramatic Automatic transmission (with High/Low/Reverse/Neutral ranges).
This monster redefines “powerful” when it comes to ATV performance, setting the standard for ultimate point-to-point acceleration. Also a new designed seat gives you the feeling that you are at “one” with the machine. Fully independent (FIS) suspension is tuned to deliver full articulation in uneven terrain. Of course, the newest big Arctic Cat maintains the brand’s legacy of having the most suspension travel (25,4 cm) and ground clearance (28 cm) in its class. Likewise, it’s loaded with the big rig features that hardcore riders need, such as on-the-fly Electric shift between 2WD/4WD, selectable full-lock front differential, 2” receiver hitch, powerful hydraulic disk brakes, five-position adjustable shocks and heavy SpeedRacks® on the front and rear.
